Better shot quality, home floor, fewer meaningful rotation concerns — that is a coherent case. But coherent is not the same as correctly priced. That combination matters because it changes how a margin behaves late. A favorite can be the more likely outright winner and still be priced a touch aggressively if the other side has enough possession equity to stay attached. That is where the analysis starts pushing back on the surface read.

Late-season pace can look louder than it really is
